Why this site??
Some background for those who may have stumbled across this site.
The author is a babyboomer with a longtime interest in photography, wildlife and a dabbler in computing.
My first digital camera was a Nikon coolpix 880 aquired in August 2000. The Konica-Minolta 5D SLR with the 18 to 70mm and 75 to 300mm lens kit purchased October 2005 was the first DSLR and took the hobby to a new plane.
In October 2006 the addition of a Sigma 50- 500mm lens opened even more horizons.
The proximity of Braeside Park in Melbourne's South East, makes photography in the park the most popular for this site.

There are intended to be three areas on this site...
1. Photographs of wildlife taken in Braeside Park.
2. Photographs of Australian animals, reptiles and birds taken outside the confines of Braeside.
3. Playpens of photographs
This site is continuously under construction.
I am continually adding images and experimenting with different methods of display. I would appreciate any comments you may have on the alternatives.
